This Privacy Policy explains how Productiv, Inc. ("Productiv," "ProDocks," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information in connection with the ProDocks dock scheduling platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy is intended primarily for business users of the Platform. If your company or organization uses the Platform, your organization may control certain account settings, customer data, and user access. In that case, your organization may also have its own policies governing your use of the Platform.

Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. ProDocks does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems. We may receive limited information from Stripe, such as card brand, expiration date, billing status, and the last four digits of a payment card, as needed to process subscriptions, renewals, billing, refunds, and account administration.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and support the Platform
  • create and manage user accounts
  • authenticate users and control access
  • process scheduling data and provide Platform functionality
  • process subscription purchases, renewals, refunds, and billing
  • communicate with customers and users regarding the Platform
  • monitor performance, security, and system health
  • troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests
  • improve and develop Platform features and services
  • generate aggregated and de-identified analytics and benchmarking data
  • comply with legal obligations
  • enforce agreements, policies, and rights

3. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • with service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, customer support, security, authentication, and payment processing, including Stripe for billing and payment processing
  • within Productiv, Inc. as reasonably necessary to operate and support the Platform
  • with your organization or account administrators, if you use the Platform through an employer or other organization
  • when required by law, subpoena, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, security, property, customers, users, or the public
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business

We may also use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify a specific individual or organization.

4. Payment Processing

We use Stripe to process subscription payments and related billing transactions. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's terms and privacy practices. ProDocks does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems.

5. Legal Bases and Regional Disclosures

Depending on where you are located, our legal bases for processing may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your personal information, subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Platform
  • fulfill contractual commitments
  • maintain security and audit records
  • resolve disputes
  • enforce our agreements
  • comply with legal obligations
  • preserve backup or archival records for a limited period

If your subscription or account ends, we may retain certain information for legitimate business and legal purposes and in standard backup systems for a limited period.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, logging, authentication controls, and incident response procedures.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

The Platform is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • request access, correction, or deletion of certain information, subject to legal and contractual limitations
  • opt out of non-essential marketing communications by using the unsubscribe link in those communications

If your account is managed by your employer or organization, you should direct your requests first to your organization's account administrator.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party systems. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated policy on the Platform, by email, or through an in-Platform notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised.
